Kaum etwas berührt mich mehr als dieser gespannte Ausdruck im Gesicht eines Kindes dem man eine schöne Geschichte erzählt. Nichts wäre besser als zu wissen, draußen in der Welt schauen sich Kinder meine Illustrationen an, während sie gespannt ihren Eltern zuhören, die ihnen eine meiner Geschichten vorlesen.

Die Idee zu dieser Dinosauriergeschichte über einen Jungen und seinen Lieblingsdino entstand als ich für mehrere Wochen im Ausland arbeitete. Jeden Tag musste ich meinem damals dreijährigen Sohn einen Dinosaurier zeichnen und nach Hause faxen. 14 Jahre ruhten diese Skizzen versteckt in einer Kiste irgendwo in einem Regal. 2011 nahm ich mir endlich eine kurze berufliche Auszeit, auch um die lange gehegte Idee eines Kinderbuches zu realisieren. Ich schrieb meine Geschichte ins Reine und colorierte die Illustrationen.

Noch immer suche ich nach einem Verleger. Sollten Sie also Verleger sein und Gefallen an den Illustrationen finden, bitte ich Sie mich zu kontaktieren. Geld mit dem Buch zu verdienen ist mir nicht wichtig. Ich möchte nur weitere Kinder so glücklich wissen wie meinen Sohn, als ich ihm diese Geschichte zeigte.

Hardly anything touches me more than the tense expression in a kids face when you read or tell them a story. Nothing could beat the pleasure of knowing kids out there would listen to their parent reading them one of my stories and looking at my illustrations.

I came up with a little dinosaur story on a boy and his favourite dinosaur when I had to work abroad for several weeks and I had to fax one dinosaur sketch a day for my at that time three year old son. For 14 years those pen sketches remained hidden in a card board box somewhere in a shelf. 2011 I finally took some time off from work, to also realize the idea I had in mind since. I wrote down my story and colored the illustrations. 

Still I am looking for a publisher. So if you are a publisher and you like those illustrations, please get in touch with me. It is not about the money. I would only love to make more kids as happy as my son was when I read him this story.
